German Soft Pretzel Balls

Equipment

  • Bread Machine optional
  • large pan

Ingredients
  

Pretzel Dough

  • 227 g Water
  • 25 g Vegetable Oil
  • 48 g Brown Sugar
  • 440 g All purpose flour
  • 10 g Instant Yeast

Soda Bath

  • 8 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup baking soda

Topping

  • Pretzel Salt
  • Vegan Butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Mix the dough ingredients in bread machine on dough setting, If mixing by hand kneading it for 10 minutes, cover and proof for 1 hour.
  • Roll dough into 14g balls.
  • Proof balls for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425 F.
  • Boil ingredients for soda bath in a large pan.
  • Boil pretzel balls in soda bath for 20 seconds. Transfer to a single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with pretzel salt while balls are still wet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted vegan butter. Serve with spicy mustard.

  • 2 24 mini muffin tins

Ingredients
  

  • 600 grams Ripe Bananas
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 310 grams All Purpose Flour
  • 100 grams Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Mix all ingredients together except chocolate chips with hand mixer.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Spray muffin tins.
  • Fill tins with batter to the top.
  • Bake for 17 minutes.

Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken

The first time I made this, it was very spicy, but also very sweet. I used different tomatoes and found plum tomatoes work best. I have used different brands of fenugreek leaves, the one used in this video needed to be ground before using. Using a yellow onion will make the sauce lighter in color. Not using cashews will change the color and creamy texture.

Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 1000 grams Chicken Breast, Diced
  • 1.5 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil

Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 100 grams Red Onion, chopped
  • 500 grams Plum tomatoes, Chopped
  • 50 grams Cashews, Raw
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1.5 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi, Fenugreek leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1-1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Malt Vinegar
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions
 

  • Marinate chicken breasts in Kashmiri chili powder, salt, ginger and garlic. Heat avocado oil in pan and cook chicken breasts 5 minutes on each side. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
  • In same pan, add butter and red onions, tomatoes. Saute for 10 minutes. Add cashews, garam masala, kashmiri chili powder, garlic, fenugreek leaves, sugar, salt and malt vinegar. Cook until tomatoes are stewed.
  • Blend on high until smooth.
  • Return sauce to pan. Add water to blender jug and swish it around or turn blender on high to clean out the rest of the sauce in the jug.
  • Pour water into pan. Add more butter and cream. Mix in cooked chicken and simmer.
  • Enjoy with basmati rice and naan.

Dry Ingredients

  • 1/2 scoop Bone Broth Protein (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1 gram Quercetin Powder (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Flaxseeds
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 1 scoop Almond Flour, unblanched or soaked raw almonds
  • 1 tsp psyllium husk powder
  • 1 dash nutmeg, grated or ground

Green Smoothie

  • 1 container Dry Ingredients (above)
  • 1 handful leafy greens (kale, collard greens, and/or spinach)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 apple
  • 5-7 slices raw ginger
  • 3 slices raw turmeric
  • 2 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Prep dry ingredients in containers if you want to plan ahead. Otherwise, drop all the ingredients into a blender. Blend on high speed for 45 seconds. Bottoms up!
